Aid and Attendance is a monthly income paid tax free from the Department of Treasury. This is available to Veterans or Spouses of veterans who do not have 100% service-connected disability to help pay for assistance with activities of daily living.

Aid and Attendance is available to wartime veterans for disabilities NOT service connected, different than the disability compensation from service-connected disability or injury during active duty. You cannot receive both disability payment and aid and attendance; you will receive the greater of the two amounts. This program through the VA helps Veterans and/or their spouses help pay the financial burdens for assistive care.
The Aid and Attendance benefit helps pay for assistive care in the home or for assisted living communities. With the cost-of-living expenses and services increasing annually. Help offset and preserve your nest egg with the Aid and Attendance benefit to supplement and without sacrificing care services.
Veteran Benefit Consultants will consult and guide you through the application process for the Aid and Attendance benefit. We are committed to providing service for the life of the veteran and/or spouse. Working with family members, once notified of the veteran and/or spouse has passed away. Veteran Benefit Consultants will submit a form on the family's behalf for compensation for burial services up to $1100 or cremation services up to $800 reimbursed for the cost of funeral expenses.
